Salt Lake City is excited to offer new hires leave accrual credit toward both vacation and personal leave time for any full-time, benefited employment with a public sector employer, and any full-time, benefited, directly related employment with a private sector employer. Leave accrual time will be calculated at the time of offer for selected candidates.

Retirement Plan Description:

The Utah Retirement Systems (URS) pension is a defined benefit plan that provides a monthly payment for life after retirement. The amount of the payment is based on years of service and earnings.

  • If you were hired prior to July 1, 2011, you're in Tier 1.
  • If you were hired after July 1, 2011, you're in Tier 2.
